If he lived, he would have been paralyzed.
Is it possible to be live a HAPPY life even though you may have a disability?
Should a disability LIMIT what you can and can't do?
Explain.
P.S. Canada won 28 medals at the PyeongChang PARALYMPIC GAMES!

DeleteAre we seriously doing this every blog
DeleteYes we are :)
DeleteYes I think it's possible to be happy if you have a physical or mental disability because even if you have a disability there is always a way for you to continue to live your life and enjoy it! No I don't think a disability limit what you can do because people with disability never give up and always try if they fail something.
ReplyDeleteNo Pun...Sry

Deletemy 600Ib life in a nutshell
DeleteI do think that people can be happy even if they have a disability. I think this because even if they do have a disability they can still live there life and enjoy it the best that they can. For them they can be there own type of person because they are not like everybody else they are special and different in the best way possible. I do not think that any type of disability should limit your capability to do anything . For example look at the Paralympic games there are people there that go to the limits to show even with disabilities anything is possible.
ReplyDeleteI agree, great blog!
Deletethank you macie
DeleteI do think that it is possible to live with a disorder just because you have a disorder you're still human and you may not have legs or arms but you can still have friends but there might be bullies but at the end of the day you have still accomplished another day and night. If you have a disability you should glad you do less chores unless you live in the States they'll gun you down. If you love sports and are paralyzed hip down you can still make the Paralympics but it might take a while to get through security ( wow im so rude ) well that's all i have to say" Thanks for reading.
ReplyDeleteI have no friends

Deleteoh wow liam what an accomplishment
ReplyDeleteIt could be possible, with family (wow that's unfortunate) and friends to support you. Disabilities shouldn't limit what you can or can't do. We should all try to be more sympathetic and patient to disabled people, and supply them with easier ways to travel. Unfortunately, disabled or elderly people have more difficulty accessing different parts of a town, a mall or even their own homes. We should all work together to change this one day.
ReplyDeleteI wrote this while listening to dubstep ._. Judge me

DeleteFor some reason on this computer, it never signs into my school account so ITS AIDAN! Cant figure out how to fix it. Ill try later but anyways....
ReplyDeleteDisabilities aren't the worst. I mean theres different kinds but depending how severe it is you can overcome it. I myself have a disability but I'm not going to share it just in case of bullying hehehe. So, even tho I have a disability, its not as severe that I can't have a good life. I mean theres still crappy things about my life but I need to live with it. People with disabilities have limits but for them, its their normal life. Im sure if you were blind for an hour you would be super scared but blind people aren't because its normal for them.
Sooooo this is one of the most serious blogs i have ever done so enjoy this one serious teachers and adults! And i doubt anybody will see my blog seeing the time in doing it but if you do, YOUR DEDICATED LOL

DeleteI Aidan I saw your blog and I thought it was very well done, Good job!
DeleteNo I don’t think having a handicap can stop you from having a BAD life but their still will be things you can’t do. Most of the time they probably don’t even realise that they have a handicap. Yes for somethings it can LIMIT what they can do but their is always another way. In my old school we had a class with kids that had disabilities and we helped them learn and we would go outside and play. At that point I feel like they felt just like us.
ReplyDeleteI mean a HAPPY life.... not BAD 😂
Deletelol it isnt really that happy
ReplyDeleteyou could live a happy life like that but it would be very limited you wouldn't be able to do some of the most basic things like standing or walking or moving and many many other things. A disability shouldn't limit what you can or can not do but it does anyways it limits out half of the easiest things and even more of the more challenging things that we do every single day.
ReplyDeletevery interesting

You commented on your own blog...?
DeleteYes, you could be happy even though you are paralysed but the sad part is that you can't do the things that you did before you were paralyzed. You could have a happy life by spending time with others and do stuff that you are capable of. Yes, I think being disable could limit some stuff, but not all. You can't to a lot of activities, but I've seen them in these type of wheelchairs that let them go really fast. No matter what type of disability never give up!
ReplyDeleteI agree!Great Blog!
DeleteIf Johnny Cade was still alive and paralysed, he would have a good life because when he was in the hospital dying, he said he wanted to live even if he was paralysed and he just didn't want to die at all. I don’t think somebody would be happy right away if they were paralyzed but over time, I think you can learn to appreciate that you’re still alive. A disability should not limit what you can and can’t do because someone that has a disability is just as capable as anyone else or maybe even more determined than someone who doesn't have a disability.
ReplyDeletei would not be able to live with a disability sadly i just can't i would not be able to play hockey, football or even bike. A disability should not limit the stuff you used to do but it will sadly it will and there is nothing you could do to change that. imagine you are not able to do what you love like i wouldn't be able to play sports and work on cars or on anything else. Now i am able to play outside but if i where paralyzed i would not be able to play i would be in front of a TV and eat maybe go to school but again you can't walk. I would be a lot fatter if i was paralyzed.
ReplyDeleteI believe more and more people are accepting people with mental or physical disabilities. So there are adaptive sports like hockey on the luge chairs with two mini hockey blades or basketball with wheelchairs. The Paralympics allow people with disabilities to compete since 1948. Their disability does not stop them from doing whatever they want, as long as they want to, there is always a way they can, as long as they have the drive and will to do it. I am not saying it is easy but it does not prevent you from living a happy life I believe it will only prevent you if you let it. Thank you for reading.

ReplyDeleteLatest possible to live happy even if you have a disability. for example Greg Westlake was missing bones in his leg so he had to have them amputated. now he is a Paralympian and All Star Sledge hockey champion. There are also many other people with disabilities that are still very happy such as Stephen Hawking. He has won many awards for his life such as the Albert Einstein award in 1978. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein_Award. most recent award was the BBVA Foundation Frontiers of knowledge award. https://www.frontiersofknowledgeawards-fbbva.es . These are two examples among many of people who overcame disabilities.
Thank you for reading my blog!
I think even if you have a disability you can still live a happy life. Even if you can’t walk or are totally paralyzed you still have people who love you and would want you to be happy that you’re alive. A disability shouldn’t stop you from pursuing your dreams. Like for example; if you want to be a swimmer in the olympics and you have no legs, it doesn’t mean you can’t win gold in butterfly! My point is that there is always someone out there who believes in you, and that all your dreams can come true if you try working really hard towards them.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is still possible to live a happy life with a disability. You might not be able to walk or run again but you could still do some sports such as basketball and swimming and tennis. If you have a disability it is not the end of the world you just might have a couple of disadvantages, but that shouldn't stop you from doing what you love or following your dreams.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't think that a disability should limit what you can and can't do, you just might need to work a little bit harder.
I believe people with Disabilities can have a career or have a life because it’s important to accept the situation and the seconds step would be how to live life to the fullest. A disability should never ever stop you from doing something that you live because if you truly love you will find a way to do it.
ReplyDeleteI think that if I was paralyzed in Johnny's case I would still want to live. The reason I say this is because you only get 1 life. If he were to be paralised that would really suck. it means you really can do absolutely nothing in your life besides look at people. When your paralised you can hardly talk. I would still want to live just so I can see my family and friends.
ReplyDeleteI definitely think it’s possible to live a happy life even with a disability. It shouldn’t limit anything, I means just look at terry fox for example. He had a disability with his leg but that didn’t stop him from doing his dreams and everyone followed him.
